Refund & Cancellation Policy

ℹ️ Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By making a payment to SkillJets, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

At SkillJets, we are committed to delivering high-quality websites and ensuring client satisfaction. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and cancellations may be processed.

1. Payment Structure

All projects at SkillJets are structured with a two-part payment:

  • 50% Advance Payment: Due before work begins. This confirms your project and allows us to allocate time and resources.
  • 50% Final Payment: Due upon completion and delivery of the website for your review.

2. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you wish to cancel your project before we have started any design or development work:

  • You must notify us via email at support@skilljets.in within 24 hours of making the advance payment.
  • If the project has not yet commenced, we will process a full refund of the advance payment.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

3. Cancellation After Work Has Begun

Once work has commenced (i.e., we have started design, development, or any preparatory work for your project):

  • The advance payment (50%) is non-refundable, as it compensates for the time and effort already invested.
  • If you cancel after partial work has been completed, we will provide you with all completed files and assets up to the point of cancellation at no additional charge.
  • The final payment (50%) will not be charged if work is cancelled before delivery.

4. Refund After Delivery

Once the completed website has been delivered to you for review, the following conditions apply:

  • Refunds are not available once you have approved the website and the final payment has been processed.
  • If there are defects or issues with the delivered work that do not match the agreed project scope, we will fix these at no additional charge within the support period included in your package.
  • Dissatisfaction with design preferences (such as colour choices or layout style) that were previously approved in the design stage is not grounds for a refund.

5. Eligible Refund Conditions

A refund may be issued in the following situations:

  • SkillJets is unable to complete the project due to unforeseen circumstances on our part.
  • The delivered website is fundamentally different from the agreed project scope and we are unable to resolve the issue after reasonable attempts.
  • You cancel within 24 hours of the advance payment and work has not yet begun.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

  • You change your mind about the project after work has commenced.
  • You fail to provide required content, images, or information, causing project delays.
  • You are dissatisfied with design choices that were approved during the review stage.
  • Delays caused by your lack of response or unavailability.
  • Third-party services (such as domain registrars, hosting providers, or payment gateways) that are not under SkillJets' control.

7. Revision Policy

Rather than issuing refunds for dissatisfaction, we strongly encourage clients to make use of the revision process included in all packages:

  • All packages include a set number of revision rounds as agreed at the start of the project.
  • We are committed to working with you until the website meets the agreed requirements.
  • Additional revisions beyond the included rounds can be accommodated at a fixed rate, discussed and agreed beforehand.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or raise a dispute, please contact us:

  • Include your full name, order details, and the reason for your request.
  • We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 7 business days.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing times may vary:

  • UPI / Net Banking: 2–5 business days
  • Debit / Credit Card: 5–10 business days (depending on your bank)

We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.
